Very steep hills today. Hiked into Stevens Pass with Red and Shaggy where we then got a hitch from a college students from WSU. She was going back home to Bellingham.

Once in town, we met up with some thru-hikers at the bar in Skykomish. After eating, drinking, and recharging my battery packs, Shaggy, Red and I went to find a place to setup camp for the night. With rain lurking in the forecast, we decided to ditch the conventional camp with tents and opt for cowboy camping under the local bridge in town. There we one other thru-hiker already setup in what seemed to be a dry location. We did the same.
